Powell says evidence on Osama bin Laden will be shared soon
The United States will soon share evidence with allies that details how Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida terrorist network are tied to the Sept. 11 attacks, Bush administration officials said Sunday.

U.S. doubts bin Laden is missing
Afghanistan's ruling Taliban have been unable to locate alleged terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden for the past two days, the Taliban ambassador to Pakistan said Sunday. U.S. officials cast doubt on the claim.

Powell says non-compliant nations "risk further isolation and increasing pressure"
Secretary of State Colin Powell said Friday that he hopes nations that harbor terrorists will soon "come to their senses" and reject terrorism, now that a worldwide coalition is mobilizing against them.

Emirates cut relations with Taliban
The United Arab Emirates cut diplomatic relations with Afghanistan's Taliban rulers Saturday for refusing to surrender suspected terrorist Osama bin Laden, the state news agency reported.

Industry would get $15 billion in grants and loan guarantees

Congress took swift action to restore vitality to a sector of the economy that has taken a direct hit from the Sept. 11 attacks.

Bush releases $5.1 billion for spending

The money is the first installment of the $40 billion emergency package Congress enacted last week.
